Chandler Meyer A Critique of The Impressionist styles of Chandler Meyer and Gauguin The following is a critique of both impressionist exposures Gauguins sadness de Tahiti and my painting The tripping most Moon. There be many differences and similarities between these deuce paintings. in spite of their differences, the color schemes are similar and alike the techniques for the brush strokes were apply in a dabby manner which was pilot film light to the style of painting. Although some points in my painting guard been changed or adjusted I still tried to view as the veritable vibes pass from Gauguins piece. In the Rue de Tahiti it is clear that Gauguin was painting a mountain spatial analogy perhaps in the late afternoon in the un utilize Tahiti air. His brush strokes consist of dabby strokes of many contrastive colors that are spread out throughout the painting which was also unplowed the same in my painting. The color that was a good bear apply were di fferent sunglasses of green, my thought was he used many greens because he wanted to emphasize the munificent feeling around the Island, and the sense of fresh green say hills. I wanted to keep that same feeling of the sow and fauna so I put the same shades of greens. What I also noticed was the expressions on the peoples faces almost think bored or just relaxed and not to rushed. To conclude my analytic thinking there are phantasmas on the far right billet which to me indicated the sun is going down and casting a after part towards that side. I did this painting because I like Tahiti and his impression of them! big bucks always say His depictions of life in Tahiti and other walk out of Polynesia are famous throughout the world. What truly captivates me about this svelte piece of artwork is that Gauguin almost catches the painting in a frozen in time moment. The ways he stack bounce reds, and purples everywhere and have it come together in an extraordinary sy mphony of colors!
